closet blog reader

I've been blogging and reading blogs for over two years now.  The truth is, I've spent way more time reading blogs in that period of time than writing my own blog.  I have almost 100 blogs in my Google Reader and I know that doesn't even come close to the number of blogs I have read loyally at some point or another.

The point of this post is that I had an epiphany a couple of days ago.  I realized that I read all these blogs, and the bloggers don't even know.  I probably comment on a couple of blogs a week.  That's it.  Not only is that creepy and weird to think about, but it's counter productive.  I want to be a part of a community of bloggers.  That's part of the reason I blog.
