Sick Days

I woke up sick yesterday. We're talking body aches, fever, the whole kit and caboodle. Brian was kind enough to keep me company on the couch all day long. We watched 3 or 4 episodes of VMars (season 2) and we caught up on 30 Rock. We also pulled out the N64 and played some Banjo-Tooie, which is kind of a sick day tradition of mine.


I know, I'm a nerd. I used to play this when I was home sick in middle school and high school. It made me feel better to play video games instead of watching TV all day. It made me feel productive or something. Plus, the worlds in this game (as well as Banjo-Kazooie, the preceding game) are really fun and pretty.

On a more serious note, Brian got in to law school yesterday! We were really excited. He still has several to hear back from before he makes his final decision, but he really likes this one and it's always nice to have one acceptance under your belt.

Also, Brian wanted me to amend my previous post about what we've watched to add District 9 to the list. It was really original and well done, even if it was a little dark for my taste. Also, Brian and I finally watched Les miserables last night and I loved it!
