One of my favorite things every year at the beginning of May is buying annuals with my mom and my grandma. I just love nurseries. On Mother's Day we went to the nursery and bought annuals for the flower pots in our yard. My mom is always a good sport about letting me pick out some of the combinations and this year we tried a few new ones. I get
really excited about it.
When we got back, my brother and I worked in the yard for a few hours. I planted all the pots, and I was a happy camper.
They might not look like much yet, but I'm so excited to see how they fill up the pots as the summer goes on. I just love this time of year!
What's your favorite flower? I have an emotional attachment to this hydrangea in my parents' yard. It never seems to get any bigger, but I think that's part of the appeal. It's like the little engine that could. Hydrangeas are my favorite in general, but for the pots I love those little superbell things and the verbena, too. Trailing flowers make me happy.
