Today is the first of August, which means that Brian and I are getting married this month. Ahhh!

Stuff is actually winding down. My mom was saying how she felt much more stressed two weeks ago, and that now everything we have left seems more or less like fluff.

I agree.

At the same time, I can't shake the feeling that something is slipping through my fingers... that I am forgetting something. These days I'm always forgetting something.

I'm kinda ready for it to be here, actually. I'm ready to stop worrying about how it will go, and just let it play out as it will.

And then I'm ready to go to the beach.

But I need to remind myself to enjoy these last 12 days. This is it. It's all there is.
