Wedding Wednesday: Engagement Photos

Right now I'm working on scheduling our engagement shoot, and it has me thinking about what the whole thing is going to look like. We've pretty much picked our location, so now I'm on to what we will wear. I'm thinking it's going to be casual; my mom pointed out that all of our wedding photos will be formal, so we might as well wear jeans for our engagement pics. Jeans is really more "us." For me, I'm thinking jeans and the layered cardigan look. I have a bright green cardigan I'm thinking about wearing. For Brian... jeans and a button down shirt? We'll see. This might require a shopping trip.

People are so creative with their engagement photos these days. I think we're gonna keep ours pretty simple, although I am thinking about doing a chalkboard or something that will let us use a photo for our save the dates! Of course, now that I'm blogging about it, there aren't any pics to be found on the interwebs... such is life.

If Sebastian jumped out and started singing "Kiss the Girl," then this photo shoot would be PERFECT. But her dress almost does the trick.
