On Saturday morning my dad and I ran the Race for the Cure 5k. Yes, we are an amazing father-daughter running duo and we bob and weave through the masses with ease. We've done it a couple times before (well, my dad has done it many times.) It was really fun. If you've never done it before, I highly recommend it. There are a TON of people there, but the event is run pretty efficiently and the energy of the crowd is truly inspiring. Plus, the shirts are pretty baller.
After we got back, Brian and I went to his cousin's graduation, which happened to be in the same awesome town where I go to school. We missed the actual graduation (long story), but we made it to the party, I got to pick up some stuff from my apartment, AND I got to see my roommate who I hadn't seen since December! Success!
Saturday night was kind of a fail. But I'd had a long day, right?
Sunday morning I slept until almost 11. It was epic.
Sunday during the day Brian and I went to lunch at Potbelly (nom nom nom) and then headed to the mall. It's amazing what ten minutes in the make-up department at Nordstrom will do for you. Amazing. I was replacing some boring stuff, too. Bronzer from MAC, foundation and concealer from Clinique. BUT, I got the Trina Turk promo bag from Clinique with all the free goodies, which definitely upped the excitement level.
Sunday night I got to experience Riverdance on it's final tour. It was really fun! I totally enjoyed it.
{source}In the meantime, Brian and I have been alternating between episodes of West Wing and Battlestar Galactica. It's a pretty frackin' awesome combination, if I do say so myself (yeah, I just said that.)
