When I read Design*Sponge today I came across another one of Amy Merrick's posts in her Living In series, where she takes a movie and makes an inspiration board based on it. I went through the previous entries and read practically all of them (my favorites were Little Women and Mama Mia!- mostly because I love those movies.) I pretty much think that this is one of the coolest ideas that I have ever seen on a blog (and I read a lot of blogs lately). It combines two of the things that I adore most- design and movies. Most of my favorite movies are period films- partly because I love the costumes and the design aspects that go along with trying to portray another time and place. Reading her post made me think about all of the movies that I would LOVE to see her do (Emma, The Count of Monte Cristo, Mona Lisa Smile... I could go on all day.)
This train of thought has gotten me thinking about weddings in movies. That sounds like a good blog post in and of itself... I think I will compile a list of my favorites and get back to you. In the meantime, can you think of any movie wedding scenes that you love?
